Sitting Is Killing You!
Yesterday when I wrote about my Keister I was really half kidding about how I felt that it was taking on the shape of my chair, but come to find out,sitting is a growing problem. Today my husband shared with me an article that he found on one of his stops. When I finished reading it I told him that I had to share this with you all. This article makes me want to invest in a Gaiam Balance Ball chair for my office. Although I'll still be sitting I think I'll feel better about what I'm sitting on.
It will definitely make me sit up straight because I tend to slouch. So unattractive!!If that doesn't work I may have to bring in my cruiser and pedal my way to better health.
Both Larry and I have standing desks. They are good because they keep you moving all the time. I just switched to standing a couple months ago; prior to that I sat on an exercise ball for at least the last 7 years; it's great; try the ball alone, you don't need a big fancy holder for it, you get more exercise when you use your own muscles to sit up. ;-)
